...the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh!!
Loved it, and allow some time because there are 6 floors of Warhol to see! Every floor is worth seeing because you will see his process as an artist and innovator evolve and develop.
It was very exciting for me to see what went on in the inner workings of this man that made him so unique (and common), complex (and quite simple), famous (and infamous).
Warhol, (actually his real last name is Warhola -a first generation Slovak like myself) was born in Pittsburgh. The museum is located on a deserted block in a fitting cold, grey, industrial setting.

Wicked Moon free reading Dec. 1

Luba Mason, Jim Stanek, et al. Set for York Theatre's Company's Wicked Moon Reading

York Theatre Company has announced casting for its free development reading presentation of Wicked Moon, to be offered on Thursday, December 1 at 1:30pm at the Theatre at St. Peter's. Pamela Hunt will direct the performance, which will have music direction by David John Madore.

The show features music by Varick Bacon, lyrics by Powers McElhone, and a book by Richard Aellen.

The company will feature Matt Bailey (Mike), Tim Ford (Carl), Amy Griffin (Sara), Luba Mason (Arly), Michael McCormick (Peter), Jim Stanek (Dean), and Jessica Waxman (Kendra).
