The latest edition of Jazzed and Blue: Profiles in Blues and Jazz is now available for download at and features music and an exclusive interview with drummer Louie Speaking Eagle of the New Mexico-based jazz combo Red Hot and Red. In this opening segment, Speaking Eagle discusses working with pianist Steve Figueroa and bassist Rob "Milo" Jaramillo of Red Hot and Red, connecting with the audience and their plans to cut an official release on their terms.

The second half of this edition of Jazzed and Blue will feature music from such jazz and blues artists as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Hulon, Curtis Stigers, Veronneau, Luba Mason and more. "Listeners have really taken a liking to the free form segment of the show and quite honestly so have I." says Jazzed and Blue host Brian Lush. "It's a real treat to end a long week with a show like this and to kick back and listen to some great music."

Neil Berg returns to Feinstein’s with a new cabaret show hosted by Broadway star Rob Evan along with Mr. Berg, and featuring a star-studded cast.  Mr. Berg and friends will recreate well-known Broadway show stoppers along with songs from Mr. Berg's musicals of the past, present, and future.
Featuring Rob Evan* (Jekyll and Hyde, The Prince and the Pauper, Trans Siberian Orchestra), Luba Mason (White Noise, Cape Man, Chicago), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof), Lawrence Clayton (Les Miserables, Dreamgirls, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Civil War), and William Michals (South Pacific, Beauty & the Beast), as well nightly special guests.

A Night of Broadway Stars benefit for Covenant House 6/2

Lawrence Clayton, Jeffry Denman, Rita Harvey, Capathia Jenkins, Luba Mason, Natalie Toro and Danny Zolli performed at A Night of Broadway Stars on June 2 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center. The concert featured a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for homeless youth at Covenant House to perform with some of Broadway's greatest performers.

All proceeds raised by A Night of Broadway Stars will benefit the homeless young people served by Covenant House.
