Theatreworks USA's 50th Anniversary Celebration Feb 12

Luba Joins Barbara Cook, Nathan Lane, Donna Murphy, Sara Ramirez and more

Theatreworks USA, the nation's leading not-for-profit professional theatre for family audiences, will present its 50th Anniversary Celebration gala Feb. 12 at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. This special benefit gala will be co-hosted by Charles Busch and Julie Halston.

The event will feature performances by Tony Award winners Barbara Cook, Nathan Lane, Donna Murphy, Sara Ramirez, along with Bryan Batt, Jennifer Cody, Colman Domingo, Ryan Duncan, Mary Faber, Forever Plaid, Jared Gertner, Ann Harada, Sheldon Harnick, Rose Hemingway, Gwen Hollander, Jayne Houdyshell, Joe Iconis, Jamie LaVerdiere, Luba Mason, Brad Oscar, Stephen Pasquale, Nic Rouleau, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and John Tartaglia.

The gala will also include a special tribute to Theatreworks USA Co-Founders Jay Harnick and Charles Hull.

The evening's honorees will include four-time Tony Award-winning director Jerry Zaks; George Forbes, Executive Director of the Lucille Lortel Foundation and President of the Off-Broadway Theatre League; Betty Jacobs, longtime Theatreworks USA Board and Founding Circle Member; Theatreworks USA Marketing Director Barbara Sandek; and NYC Department of Youth & Community Development Comissioner Jeanne Mullgrav.
